“Strong crimson-red; intense black fruits, licorice , spice and bitter chocolate drive bouquet and palate alike; the tannins are generous but fully ripe and balanced, as is the oak. Rating 95.”
James Halliday 2011 Australian Wine Companion
Eden Hall 2006 Shiraz
The 2006 Shiraz is a deep crimson colour, with an enticing nose of pencil lead, spicy tobacco oak, white pepper and ripe red fruits. The palate is a riot of sweet oak, cherry and red berry fruit characters, the palate awash with luscious, pure fruit weight that ripples with freshness. Powerful, yet perfectly balanced, the wine finishes with fine, lingering tannins. Drink now – 2020.
